NOVEMBER

11.1.2000 to 11.8.2000

Karen’s sisters wedding happened this weekend. It was crazy. The same band that played at my brother’s wedding was at this one. They were a little better then they were before though. I got a lot of alcohol and a lot of good food which is always good for me.

I then spent the weekend reminding myself why I went to school. Fortunately we had a cool fieldtrip to the Geysers region near Napa. The funny thing is we don’t have any real geysers in the area.. they are all fumerals. But, that’s besides the point.

So, now that I’m at Stream Theory I’m working under my old boss Norm from GoTo, it’s really weird how things work out. I leave GoTo for one company and end up accepting an offer from another company and being put under the boss I was originally with at GoTo. Strange how the universe works.

11.9.2000 to 11.22.2000

So many things happened this term that I can't even remember what to write, but thanksgiving is coming and I promise to get some more pictures up for y'all to see. Well, Richard moved down to Santa Monica but I had forgotten because I had Ms. Bogovich's lighting design as well as school field trips to deal with. Ms. Bogovich decided to do Steel Magnolias this year. It's one of those all girl plays about the strength and empowerment of women through the use of beauty supplies. The set was pretty cute once I told her to paint some of it lime green. It had two swiveling salon chairs and everything.. spared no expense.

Oh, and the highschool's theater had a new paint job. It has transformed from an olive and puke green nightmare to a gray and stale beacon of auditoriumness. Accept the puke green seats with the springs that jab up your ass are still there. They are supposed to replace those this winter. Oh, and I've also been contracted to do Christmas with the Brother's Grimm for the Calavveras Rep. Theater and the Milpitas Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony and Old Fashion Sing Along. It's gonna be tricky.. but someones gotta do it. The Cal Rep Theater is now located in the 1000 building at the Old Ayer High in Milpitas. It's an old cafeteria that they are currently painting black. I hope I can get enough electricity for this one.

I went to visit one of my "bitches" Azin at UC Davis. Actually I went to meet Penny and Peter, two entomologists that I would like to work with at the university, and then went for a quick visit to Azin's new place. Azin and I both agreed that the outside of her complex is ugly, but it's just a college place so you can say things like that about it.

The weekend before, I went clubbing with EMT guy and his friend Eudean. I met Eudean on Halloween... he was in drag... anywho.. I guess I should digress and recount the rest of the Halloween experience that I neglected to put in October's Journal.

HALLOWEEN PART 2

So, I'm depressed and I just had argued with Mr. Cutie Head and Mr. EMT guy had asked me the night before if I wanted to go out to the Castro with him and his straight friends. I was hesitant because I knew I was in a bad mood. But I eventually said OK because I didn't want to spend Halloween at home passing out candy to the four kids that came that night. So, it's the last day of work for Karen and I and we had just left the Halloween Party at work. I was dressed up as a Vietnam Vet, though I decided against having an injury.. maybe next year.

So, I head all the way to Berkeley to meet up with Mr. EMT guy and I made sure to park on the street so I wasn't harrassed by a parking Nazi. So, I get there and he got me some lilies, which was sweet. Anyway, we are waiting and waiting for his friends... and when one group finally shows up we end up waiting and waiting for Eudean!. Fortunately they all ended up being nice people and we went to the Castro. The rest of the night was a blurr but it was all around ok.

BACK TO LAST WEEKEND

So Eudean, EMT Guy and I go out to the END UP. In line at the END UP, these guys come up to me and ask if we wanted 50 bucks for doing a survey with them. So, EMT guy and Eudean ask if they could do it too, but they said it's only for asian men. Well EMT guy understood but then Eudean, who is a Phillipino male, said... hey what about me? The girl then told Eudean that it was only for guys... well Eudeane was somewhat annoyed but they ended up letting him do it :) I then did the survey first. It had to do with getting in an RV and doing some blood tests and they asked all these questions on my sex life. It was quite interesting. I ended up with Fifty bucks in cash, two free AMC tickets, and I got into the club free. Nothing could go wrong that night. Unfortunately something did. I spent so much time in that survey that I forgot what time it was and I missed the last call for alcohol. Fotunately I had the energy to dance the night away. So we danced... then we played pool and then we danced again and then Mr EMT Guy went to play pool again and I was talking with Eudean when this girl comes up and asks if Eudean and I were together. We were obviously not. SO, she said her friend was interested in meeting me. So, I end up meeting this guy, who was pretty god damn cute.. and he smelled good, which is always important. He ended being a Navy guy based in Seattle, and he was in SF for a few days on his way back up to Seattle. So, we had a nice talk and we danced. He was very sweet. I went home with Eudean and EMT guy and then drove back home from Berkeley to give my cats medicine and got ready to go back up to the city to go to school when I remembered that Navy guy asked to see me again when I get back up. So I stop by his motel room and we talk again and snuggle for the morning until I had to go to school. We ended up falling asleep. Here's where the funny story takes place. So, Navy guy was sharing the room with his buddy and when I got there I was sure to be quite because I was afraid of waking him up. Navy guy said that he'd sleep through anything. Well, we fall asleep in each others arms and wake up to the sound of some guy opening the door. The person who walks in was his friend. Navy guy looks at his friend and looks at the body on the bed and goes, uh oh.. what the heck? Well, his friend makes a snide remark and gets on the phone and dials another room. He then says, "Oh my god, the trick is still in my fuckin' bed." and he storms out. An hour later he comes back in and he wakes the "trick" out if his bed and tells him that he's got one minute to get the heck out of his room. So, the trick stands up and proceeds to get undressed out of his pajamas, folds them up nicely and neatly, puts on his regular clothes, makes sure he looks ok, then he gives a look of pure unadulterated attitude to everyone in the room and walks out. I start laughing quietly on Navy guy's back. Fortunately he was big enough to conceal me.

Who was this Trick? Let me tell ya. Mr. Navy Guys friend had his old love interest over. Well his love interest had a trick over. The friend knew that the love interest was going to have a trick over but made it perfectly clear that he didn't want to see this trick. Instead, the love interest invites the trick over to spend the night. So, the trick was screwing the love interest on the friends bed. The poor guy was devestated. It was quite funny. I said goodbye to Navy Guy and went to school. Don't think I'll see him again, though he seems to have very entertaining friends. Oh well.

I then get invited to hang out with Nadine, Kim and Andrew (classmates). Andrew's from Canada, his mind's almost as dirty as mine is. We had some pizza and did some OTHER things and were waiting for nine o'clock to come around so that we could meet some of Nadine's friends at the Elbow Room. I was also invited to have dinner with Elicia and Diane, I really wanted to go to that too, but I had already accepted the other group. Darn :( Well we go to the elbow room and watch Nadine's friend get hit on by this extremely nasty looking old guy. We then walked over to the MINT and listened to some people try to sing. There was some professional Guy singing the Don Qioxote song... We spent most of the night walking to places and singing songs along the way. Quite loudly I must comment. We ended up recruiting people for small bits of it too. Christmas Carols seemed to be popular for recruitment :)

I then drove home and slept for a very long time.

I'm currently house sitting for a friend. She and her husband live near Saratoga in San Jose. It is in a traffic nightmare. Oh, and I think they need to throw away Florida and have the two candidates Ro-SHam-Bo for the Presidency.

A BRIEF TANGENT......

I can't wait to do things! There is so much to do and so much to learn out there that I simply don't think I have the time. I was trying to file an extension, but wasn't sure where to file one. I enjoy walking all walks of life and I will be quite blunt in saying that I make fun of everyone and everything. I am an equal opportunity clowner, but I assure you that I do it simply to be a devil's advocate and bring life to those I meet. You see, most people have a fakeness that is always nice and hospitable. However, if we were all supposed to be nice and hospitable then wooden sticks wouldn't be so enticing to pick up and hit things with! :) It's only when you hit a cord within them that they become animated and lively. Their adrenaline starts pumping and they become full of color. This is when you can see what a person is really like. Therapists have said that this illusion i live in is in fact a defensive mechanism my mind has cooped up. Whatever it may be, I quite enjoy it. And don't worry about being sarcastic back with me cause then you will have to battle my wit or get disillusioned by my acceptance of your mockery. I'm just funny that way.

I"VE ADDED A SECTION IN THE HOMEPAGE WITH SOME OF MY POEMS AND SUPER NOTEWORTHY ACCOUNTS IN MY LIFE

BACK TO THE HAPPENING!

Well, I was answering a lot of customer support questions for work during the holiday cause or servers kept going down... poor servers. I made an awesome turkey this year. I made garlic marshed potatos using russets, asparagus and carrots with butter sauce, turkey marinated in orange and apple juice with sourdough bread stuffing, and other delectable treats. It was wonderful! I spent a nice quaint time with my family.

I also had to work at the Calaveras Rep dealing with lighting issues. John promises that one day I will get a real lighting system of my very own. Oh, I count the days....
