What a long year.. let alone long month... or should I say months! What has happened? Richard and I went to Japan! (You can see the fake story right now at: Erik and I have resolved things and are back together. I finally finished writing about Japan! You can Read the Real Story about Japan by clicking here. Erik and I having been doing well now and we just came back from multiple trips!!! We went to see Mama Mia at the Orpheum. This was Kai and my second pilgrimage to this musical. Erik saw it for the first time and he liked it a lot.
Erik and I went to Yosemite for a day. We drove up the night before and stayed at a nice little Best Western outside of the Park gate. We have National Park passes so we don't have to pay to get in. When we get there it was empty since it was Sunday. We had a nice picnic and hiked a bit and just enjoyed ourselves. This was Eriks first time at Yosemite and he wanted to take Black and Whites of the scenery. I didn't scan them in the computer yet, but here is one of Erik and the ATM in Yosemite.
A week or so later we went to Lake Tahoe with Erik's family. We did a neat Bike ride in Truckee and did some shopping for Erik's Mom's birthday present.
There was a car show in downtown Truckee and Erik took a lot of pictures.
Then the next day we went to Disney World. You can Read about Disney World by clicking here.
We ate at this pretty good buffet in the Magic Kingdom where we were forced to fratranize with Pooh and his friends.
I got the flan, which was a little thick, so I mushed it up and made a mickey head. The eyes and nose are chocolate frosting from a cake that was tasty. Then last week we babysat Erik's nephews TJ and Nick so that his sister could go see Mamma Mia for her birthday. Nick is like a cat beacuse he likes to play inside boxes. TJ was not available to comment due to the fact that he was busy with a Nintendo Game Cube.
Robyn Roehm got married on August 17! It was a cute wedding.
Erik and I bought new suits for the wedding... well actually, just because...
He's so cute! Then we went to dinner with Erik's friend Zack and some other friends of his.
Erik and I are off to Disneyland to celebrate Elicia's Birthday! |

Oh Yeah, I forgot to mention! I am now a legally ordained Minister, so I can do weddings and such fun ceremonies now. Its all quite interesting. I was ordained on August 1, 2002 for those that must know. I have my oral departmental exams coming in a month and I am cramming to memorize all the information I need to know. I hope i can remember it all. |
